Reno fire officials say three pet dogs and a cat died when a fire broke out in a mobile home in Lemmon Valley.
No one was home when a neighbor called to report a smoldering fire at the residence.
Fire officials say the blaze was mostly contained to the kitchen area, but it produced a lot of smoke.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
