Liverpool, New York (WSYR-TV) - The low-clearance railroad bridge over Onondaga Lake Parkway has claimed another tractor trailer.
Despite several brightly-colored signs warning drivers about the bridge, a truck driver Thursday wound up hitting the bridge with such force that the back end of the trailer was suspended in the air.
We're told the driver was not hurt; theres no word on the driver's name, or whether any tickets were issued

I'll argue to the ends of the earth that the ridiculously talented Downey deserves a heap of awards for 'Tropic Thunder.' But this may be his best chance:




Pros: Everybody loves Downey. Especially since 'Iron Man.' This could be the 'serious' role that gets him some 'serious' accolades. Add 'Tropic Thunder' to the assumed success of 'The Soloist,' and 2008 could be the most lucrative year of his long career.

'From the director of 'Atonement.'' That would be Joe Wright, who apparently isn't famous enough to get his name in the trailer. He's certainly one of the best new-ish directors working today, and after his superb work on 'Atonement' and 'Pride and Prejudice,' he deserves our attention.
The rest of the cast. Jamie Foxx has been in some credible projects since winning the Oscar for 'Ray': 'The Kingdom' and 'Jarhead,' both underrated; 'Dreamgirls' and the unfairly maligned 'Miami Vice.' (I'll overlook 'Stealth' - you're welcome, Mr. Foxx.) No denying his acting chops
